For me this heart from Bjørg Jewellery means a lot. It reminds me of the first time we saw two beating hears on the ultrasound screen almost a year ago. It reminds me of love, of life and of how vulnerable we all are. It reminds me of loved ones who are gone, and of loved ones who are here. It reminds me of what I have been through this last year. It reminds me to breath. It reminds me to feel.

Hello again. I still have a lot of Paris pictures to share, so here goes day 5!
We started the day off with breakfast in the sun.

The rest of the day we, me and my husband (still strange to write that word), spent on our own. Mostly we just walked wherever our fancy took us. Down a nice road. Towards the river. Into cute shops. We also found the chocolate shop my friend Kine recommended. So many cute chocolate sculptures!
We had to try some of the pretty candy…
We decided to put up our own lock on the bridge absolutely covered with them. We wrote our names and put it there together. I still have the keys in my bag – might do something fun with them someday.

Crepes for lunch!
The evening was spent in front of the Eiffel tower, watching the world around it getting darker and darker, and the tower itself becoming more and more magical. We waited for the lights to start blinking and sparkling. It was quite pretty, but getting a good picture of it without having a tripod for the camera was impossible.
Oh Paris… I miss you!
The weather was just perfect on our first day as a married couple. We had really planned to take a trip out to Versailles but after the day before we were pretty beat and just wanted a relaxing day. We decided to take a walk and go to the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur instead. We meet up with a few of our friends and family and had lunch with them before we retreated back to the area where our hotel was in.

I just love my new pink Lily Mulberry bag. So cute! The perfect spring and summer bag. And best of all, it fits my big camera!
Jeanette also got the Mulberry bag of her dreams so we had to pose with the bags together.
I cant wait for propper spring in Oslo, so we can walk around in maxi skirts just like in Paris!
Very ready for day two in Paris we jumped right out of bed.
Ida, Jeanette, Kine and Nikolai arrived the evening before and I was heading out bright and early for breakfast with the girls before some very important shopping!
After breakfast Ida, Jeanette and were ready for our mission. We had so much fun just walking down the streets talking and laughing. I totally forgot where we were going half of the time. But, we got there in the end, and after one or two hiccups our mission was completed. I’ll show you later, but for now, this is a hint:
For lunch we met up with the boys who had done even more location scouting for the wedding photos.
We also got some macaroons, pictures later!
After this we headed back to the hotel to pick up my 5DII (camera) for a small photoshoot with Kine and Nikolai before a 3 course dinner with everyone. Pictures to come from both parts!
A bride needs some special details for the big day. I had selected things that I loved and also thought I could use again later.
The shoes are from Unisa. The earrings are from Celine Engelstad. The hair broach is from accessorize. The necklace is made of beautiful fresh water pearls. The lipstick is from Chanels Rouge Coco series. The nail polish is from Essie and is called Fondola Gondola (my all time favorite – but sadly it had been left open and was to thick to use on the big day – a new one is landing in my postbox soon). The perfume is from Chloe and is called Love (A birthday gift from my maids of honor). The pearl bracelet is from Pandora, bought at Thune. And the bag is from Cecilie Melli. I love all these details, and don’t they just match perfectly together? On the tiny eiffel tower you can see my engagement ring, probably the most important detail.

Påsken er her og den har startet veldig fint. Lørdagen ble startet med en tur på løkka, innkjøp av en blomst til å ha i håret og nyeste utgaven av favoritt bladet mitt og en mini lunsj i solen ved Birkelunden.
Idag har vi vært på påsketur (årlig påske tradisjon) med 6 venner og en voff.
Kvelden har blitt brukt på å ferdiggjøre litt fotojobber som har ventet på oppmerksomhet.
Nå er ert fri, avslapning, vennekos, kjærestekos og bryllupsforberedelser som står på planen den neste uken ♡♥♡
Våren er rett og slett magisk. Hvert år når de første vårtegnene spretter fram kjenner jeg et hopp i hjertet og kribling i kroppen. Jeg har lyst til å ta på meg små, tynne sko og et skjørt (for eksempel dette nydelige Just Female maxi skjørtet, som forøvrig passer perfekt sammen med skoene jeg skal bruke i bryllupet vårt – dermed gleder jeg meg ekstra til dagene i Paris etter bryllupet, for da kan jeg tusle rundt i noen av de fineste klærene jeg har) og løpe ut på leting etter hestehov og hvitveis!
Men, selvom de første vår tegnene begynner å dukke opp får vi alle smøre oss med tolmodighet, for det er enda kaldt ute, is på bakken og kald vind. Mens vi venter får vi glede oss over at dagne blir lysere og lysere, for er det ikke fint at det både er lyst før og etter jobb?
